Are You Ready for the New Quickie Election Rule?
Presenter: Amy J. Zdravecky, Esq. of Miller Canfield
The “quickie” election rule signed by the National Labor Relations Board will take effect on April 14, 2015. Supporters say the rule will simplify the election process and ensure fairness and efficiency. Opponents say it will effectively allow unions to “ambush” employers with last-minute election petitions. The new procedures will have a profound impact on union organizing tactics and representation elections. To help you prepare for these changes, this 90-minute webinar will include:
- An explanation of the new “Quickie” election rules
- The Impact of the Rules on Business’ Efforts to Remain Union-Free
- Developing A Union-Free Strategy
- Preparing for, and Winning, Quickie Elections
