Faculty Biographies
Brenda K. Heinicke is an attorney and employment law consultant. Ms. Heinicke advises and defends employers in a broad
range of labor and employment law issues, including discrimination, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination cases. She represents
employers in all aspects of employment-related litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in labor
arbitrations. Ms. Heinicke is the co-chairperson for the Labor and Employment Department of the El Paso County Bar Association and
recently received the bar association's Outstanding Young Lawyer award. She received her J.D., with honors, from the University
of Denver Law School and was selected for the Order of St. Ives.
