Faculty Biographies
Stephen L. Berry is a partner with the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP and is Chair of the Employment
Law Department in the firm's Costa Mesa, California office. Mr. Berry is a Fellow in the American College of Labor and Employment
Lawyers, and has been named in The Best Lawyers in America. He received his J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at BYU,
where he was an associate editor of the Utah Bar Journal and was a member of the Order of Barristers. Mr. Berry specializes in the
representation of public and private employers in all aspects of employment law and labor relations, including defense of wage and
hour class actions and providing preventative advice and counseling. IAML has been on the faculty of IAML for over 10 years, and is
a frequent lecturer on employment law topics. and has authored articles on a variety of employment law topics, including "Wrongful Termination:
Ten Keys to Avoiding a Day in Court."
