About This IAML AudioPro ConferenceSM:
Everyone has heard the adage "If it isn't in writing, it didn't happen." From hiring through performance evaluations, discipline and finally, termination, if an employer needs to support a decision made regarding an employee, the key to that decision being upheld is documentation. The failure to document events and the failure to maintain those documents will result in certain death before a government agency, a judge or a jury.

This audio conference will cover suggested documentation to be created and maintained for the following general situations:

  • Hiring and performance expectations
  • Performance evaluations
  • Discipline
  • Termination

Specific examples of documentation will be covered for each of these situations including real life examples of "what not to say" and how to say it better.

This conference will also address how and where this documentation should be kept.
