Laurie Grace Jewett is a nationally recognized attorney and mediator who has represented hospitals, physicians,
nursing homes, long term care facilities, regulatory agencies, insurance companies and general business clients for the last 25
years with an emphasis on health care litigation and mediation. She is a founding partner in E Health Institute, LLC, a national
web based company providing real time information to consumers and corporate clients regarding strategies and solutions for
emerging health care issues in the US workplace. She authors a nationally recognized blog on bird flu where she updates consumers
and corporations daily on what is happening around the world with avian influenza. She currently consults with a number of
corporations nationwide on how to prepare their companies for an influenza pandemic, in addition to her private practices of law
and mediation in Nashville. She holds both Bachelor of Science and Law degrees from Vanderbilt University, mediates for the
Tennessee Davidson County Courts and the Metropolitan Human Relations Commission, co-chairs the Nashville Conflict Resolution
